Did you know it’s been 238 days since the previous blog post and 728 days since the last actual update? I know fucking crazy right? What has GhostyGump been up too since then? Nothing. But in this update I want to talk to you about the wonderful world of Skilearns.
“What the fuck is a Skilearn.” you maybe answering to yourself because you haven’t played the game yet. Skilearns were originally invented by a business oriented wizard in order to provide an instant and safe option to learn skiing immediately. Since it’s not permanent and the entity of a material nature, the plan was for skiing resorts to rent them out to people too lazy to attend safety courses. Due to numerous incidents related to the wearers getting too cocky because of their Skilearn and thusly getting injured or worse, the wizard was forced to re-orient his focuses and specialized in the lucrative adventurer market. Or maybe you were talking about how they work. That’s fine too.
Skilearns are an Equip-able Magic, Tech or even Stat-boost that any character can learn instantly. In Chapter 1 some characters were limited on how many they can equip, this has now changed so that every character can equip up to three no matter the class. This change was done so characters have more fluidity in how you want to build them and making all party members viable. To demonstrate the functionality of Skilearns, lets look at Gatysh.
Since Gatysh is a Mage, it would benefit him if we equip him with some Skilearns that help him with dealing Magic damage. First were going to give him two Magic Skilearns which will be Fire and Ice, as this will give him more versatility in combat and then we give him a MP Plus Skilearn which will boost him MP by 10% so he can use a lot more MP. There are many various ways we could have built Gatysh such as him focusing on support or even giving him some Tech abilities to help round him out, but I will leave that for you to experiment with. When the next chapter comes out.
It will be out soon.
