“WHERE’S THE UPDATE GHOSTY”

So I have actually been working on the game believe it or not (do), and you probably want to know what I have actually done or,what my team has done rather….

sure

Not him.

So, incase you missed it the Gamejolt page has been given a complete overhaul, filled with new trailers screenshots and a few other nice things which you can check out right here.

Here are some new screenshots of the first town you visit in the second chapter, Boatswain. It’s a fishermans dock incase you haven’t got that correct, it’s rather big so you should explore the map when you finally get it.

The Gachimuchi sidequest now has it’s story finialised, the only thing now is to work on it. The Second Chapter’s main questline is also complete.

The next chapter is going to be much bigger than I originally thought, however I do have my own personal life getting in the way of such things. Which is why I am still recruiting for help with the game, anyone with RPG maker experience (either new or old) is welcome to help with the project. Sorry there hasn’t been much, I will leave you with one last thing that you can get exited for when the chapter releases.

Club Penguin’s Private Server Problems

Capture.PNG

stolen from JBMod, they probably won’t care.

Club Penguin Private Servers have been around since Club Penguin’s first inception, they were small at first mainly used by edgy teens roleplaying as Attack On Titan characters. Now since Club Penguin has been shut down more than 2 years at this point, the ever-increasing Club Penguin Private Servers (CPPS for short) has been gaining more and more traction, this also means more and more incompetent man-children are fighting over each over. So it’s basically a lot like Armies, only this time it’s with adults holding much more of an ego and power.

A lot of these private servers seem to go the same way, this being that things are fine for a few months or so then one of the admins gets a hissy fit. This autistic sperg out could be for a number of things, “I didn’t get what I want”, “u guys r mean :(” or “your stupid, me smart” and then proceed to write about how “this isn’t the same cops I started anymore…”. Turns out things change over time, a group gets bigger with more people interested in a project and want to help, this is fine and is what usually happens with a project. Because of that, someone gets into a tantrum and starts writing on their twitter or discord about how shitty the other admins are and how they are the only good guy in this and why you should totally trust them. Then the other admins come in and a flamewar usually starts, which is pretty funny if you’re watching on the sidelines.

There are many examples of this happening, most recently and consistent of this is being Club Penguin Rewritten, where every few months or so someone gets upset and shits diapers everywhere because the “admins were bad people”. The first real-time this happened was somewhere in 2018 where someone got mad and called out the admins and how terrible they were and how he was “upset” and “angry”. Turns out he never said those things to the other staff and everything went tits up, everyone was watching this flamewar between the mods. Another time was rather recent and proves why you shouldn’t trust random people online with your personal information, this being that someone managed to steal emails and passwords and leak them around everywhere. This one simple action basically shows that if someone from their own staff team was shitty and salty enough to do something like that then this means it can happen to almost any CPPS… turns out it can because most of the moderation teams end up going through a few bad actors and one bad enough can ruin everything.

tl;dr Don’t trust CPPS’s, if you really want to try one out then use a 10 Minute mail or a throwaway email.
